Welcome to Ascelva. Who are we?

Hello, My name is Celestine and I am the director of Ascelva virtual assistant.

Who am I?  Here is a bit of background on me. I had worked for many years in account management and administration in the fashion industry after attending the London college of Fashion. I was responsible for working with well known high street clients. I then went on to study law at Greenwich university and obtained a first class degree. Following an internship at a leading global investment bank and work experience in two Magic Circle law firms, I decided to start my own business in the events industry. My event work was featured in many places including Channel 5 and Hello magazine.

When the global pandemic happened, the world just stopped. Whilst my industry had ground to a halt, other industries were inundated with work. I decided to take my experience and qualifications and merge the two together. Work started coming in very quickly and thus Ascelva was born. What makes Ascelva different? I wanted to start a VA business that gave an exemplary service from start to finish. Something that makes my clients feel like they are getting a VIP service. What does exemplary mean to me?:

High quality work;
Specialist expertise so clients can have support in areas where they really struggle, for example legal documents;
Easy to navigate service;
Great friendly customer service.

A bit of gossip about me! I love anything to do with the law and politics. When one of my daughters told me that she wanted to study law and politics for A-level, I felt like my life’s work was complete!

I am a big fan of stringed instruments but I cannot play one. I love the violin and cello in particular. Because of this, all of my children have had lessons and played stringed instruments; all terribly!

I am very artsy. I studied Fashion design and technology at the London College of Fashion (I fancied myself as the next Vivienne Westwood) and I did a stint as an Art Director on Bollywood films.

Lastly, I love doughnuts. Any form, brand or type. I do believe that doughnuts should be considered legal tender!

If you are considering getting a VA but are having doubts about whether you need one or can afford one, feel free to contact us so that we can have a conversation about your needs.

Kindest Regards

Celestine
